Due to the supply of the COVID-19 vaccine being limited in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that initial supplies of the vaccine be allocated to high-risk groups. The state of Oklahoma has developed a priority population framework broken down into phases(pdf).
The goal is for everyone to be able to easily receive a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as large quantities are available. As vaccine availability increases, vaccination recommendations will expand to include more groups.
